Compliance
Patient safety
Patient safety organises notifications, adverse events, clinical risks and improvement actions for clinical and quality teams. Jovimed retains analysis context and review while authorised professionals determine classification and measures.
Configuration, integrations and availability are discussed in your demonstration.

CAPABILITIES
Turn observations into accountable improvements.
Preserve the connection between an event, the risk identified and the change introduced into practice.
Events and near misses
Collect adverse events and near misses with access matched to professional responsibilities. The reporter can record observed facts separately from hypotheses; classification is subsequently examined by the designated clinical team.
Clinical-risk records
Link assessments, existing controls and changes in risk to ward activity. A risk has context, an owner and followed measures; its relationship to an incident is explained rather than automatically assumed.
Structured investigations
Document timelines, potential causes, participants and approved conclusions. Documents and the timeline allow staff to distinguish what was initially known from information received during the investigation.
Actions with follow-through
Assign measures, deadlines and completion evidence. Schedule effectiveness reviews. Action closure records what was examined and by whom, retaining observations that call for additional analysis or another measure.
Accreditation evidence
Link investigations, clinical risks and verified actions to the requirements tracked in the ANMCS Accreditation Readiness module. The requirement association retains the analysis version used without turning an open notification into evidence that it has been resolved.
CaPeSaRo preparation
Track prepared information, approvals and evidence of submission to the official system. The owner examines documents and necessary reporting steps; internal preparation remains separate from submission to an official system.
IN PRACTICE
A near miss leads to a clearer procedure.
A team reports an event without patient harm. The quality lead turns it into a structured review and an accountable plan. The person receiving the case can see which facts were initially recorded and which information appeared later. Staff examine observations before classification and retain the explanation for a change. A followed action has an owner, while its completion does not implicitly close clinical questions that need a separate assessment by an authorised professional.
Document the circumstances and related risk.
Approve the revised procedure and team training.
Check implementation and update the evidence.
Management can see what changed in practice and what still needs verification.
RECORDS & TRACEABILITY
A coherent evidence file for each report.
Find the relationships between risks, procedures and completed actions. A safety discussion needs to follow an observation without unnecessarily exposing medical information. The hospital determines who sees details and who follows actions alone. Handover retains the analysis state and information that needs examination before the case is closed, including any unresolved observation requiring another professional’s review.

BEFORE YOUR DEMONSTRATION
Useful questions.
How do records relate to official reporting?
Jovimed organises the notification, analysis, actions and documents examined by staff. Designated people review information and perform the official-system steps, including CaPeSaRo when applicable. An internal dossier and submitted report are distinct states; the module does not present an internal action as confirmation that an official system has received a report.
Can incidents without harm be followed?
Yes. Near-miss situations can be recorded with context, observations and staff review in the hospital’s agreed workflow. The purpose is analysis and improvement without automatically assigning blame. Authorised professionals determine classification, the appropriate action and which information each role may consult when participating in follow-up or internal review.
How does this differ from accreditation readiness?
Patient safety follows notifications, events, clinical risks and improvement actions. ANMCS accreditation readiness organises standards and relevant evidence. A reviewed analysis may support a requirement, but the two records serve different purposes; staff retain the incident context and the document examined during internal preparation and self-assessment.
